Coaching.
While mediation is “facilitating between parties,” coaching refers to a supportive and accompanying form of professional guidance.
The coaching process provides structured support during challenging or stressful phases. These may include periods of professional transition, new and demanding situations, dissatisfaction with the current circumstances, or increased levels of stress. The issue brought to the coaching is addressed collaboratively.
Coaching focuses among other things on:
gaining clarity about the current situation and/or future goals,
making one’s own patterns of behavior, thinking, and action visible,
reflecting with a critical eye on behaviors and developing new courses of action
expanding existing approaches where this supports sustainable and effective solutions.
The coach accompanies each individual on a one-to-one basis through a structured process that may extend over several sessions, providing targeted support in achieving the agreed-upon goals.
